The National Museum for Rural Life offers Go Wild Activities. There is a rota of outdoor related activities so that every day there’s something different to try out! Drop in at 11 am and 3pm. Activity is included in the admission, National Trust for Scotland Members go free.
Finlaystone Country Park offers Summer Wild Days Out aimed at children up to 10 years of age, who must be accompanied by an adult. Today there’s Orienteering, Tuesday 2nd August there’s Woodland Art and Wednesday 3rd August there’s Let’s Get Wet. 2pm.
At Mugdock Country Park children from 8-12 can have a go at Longbow. Booking Essential. 1.45-4pm on 31st July, £1. 956 6586.
In Lenzie, parents can take part in some conservation work while the kids find out all about creepy crawlies. Tuesday 2nd August, 1-2.30pm at moss end of Lenzie Railway Station car park, follow the signs.
